Hi folks.... - After yesterdays efforts started badly, but then we exceeded what we expected to get done.
Besides the small jobs,, done, our main focus was getting the 1st ceiling 3" ply sheet into place.
In many ways probably the hardest one to do?
But not only did we get it cut and test fitted, but we hope to have it temporarily attached to the roof beams.
A real bonus, would be to get the wires fed thru, for ceiling lights, and holes cut for the lights,
but add the rest of the insulation and get it fixed permanently.
But that is down to what time the panel clips arrive today ??
Either way we have plenty of jobs started that we could make progress on or even finish.
It would be very nice to see more green in the list below....

Double Bonus job, to have worked out and cut the bed frame & have it mounted!
I made a bit of a hash on this hole :( :(
I will need some wood filler to make it go away.
The Bathroom end is held up by some baton for now
2 weeks ago I replaced these !!
From Wilcos, so this time I managed to find some Coopers Original Ferrell's
That looks better now if they last like the last set did, when I was doing loads of walking a while back I will be happy..
But at least I can now safely walk to and
from the transit now :) :)
I am on my own for a while today, so I will be pottering around jobs, to see if I can get anymore finished, or at least a lot closer to finishing.
I make start of insulating as much of the roof, I can reach.
Some sheets go on easy, others are a right swine.
But go up they do in the end
The timber we have hanging from the roof, is in the way, so I cannot finished insulating this area totally at this point.
That's it I cannot reach any further backwards now as stuff in the way and do not want to step on the glass buy mistake.
Time I started to sort this lot out, It's gotta be done in the next few days, as we will hopefully sorting the bed buy then
And I find what I was looking for and get side tracked..........
I need to put in some more cross members, but before I do it would be nice if I could use them to mount the pipes on as well..
So after emptying the sink out, I slide in the waist pipe n seal
I will get the bottom seal and nut done when I get down on the floor.
in goes the tap :) :)
Now it is time for me to get down on me bum.
MMMMMMM
Somethings Wrong here!
there should not be holes just there as they will leak water !!
So I get on with mount the tap and pipes.
Working on my own, I did not realise the tap had moved from the centre.
Will adjust it when Lynne come out n helps.
Definitely wrong here, that's as far as the nut will go, I have run out of thread!.
Time to go inside and see if I can contact the seller, but never again will I trust Amazon when they bundle items together.
Typical came from Amazon stock and you only get 30 days for a refund or replace :( :(
It is definitely the wrong waist pipe, this one is for sinks that have an overflow, mine does not!
Now a replacement waist pipe is only £9.00 but I just do not have that money at the moment, so it;s just gonna hold up not only the sink and pipework, but also the cross members, which also means we cannot do the wall panelling!!.
Right put the disappointment from above to the back of my mind, and moved onto another job.
This cross member will hold the wall brackets for the cold water pipe.
the next cross brace is clued and screwed to each other, and will hold the wall brackets for the hot water pipe.
the next row, only needs 1 cross brace
and under the sink only requires 1 cross brace as well
and the final cross brace goes in..
That's this area under the sink fully insulated
another area is stuffed full of dodo sound deaden-er & insulation.
and the last area on the bathroom/kitchen wall gets insulated, all the off cuts get shoved into the very small area were all the bolts n nuts are that hold the wall to the frames.
We cannot board this area up, as we cannot get enough of us here, to help lift CBRTIM and other heavy stuff out of the way in the workshop, were we have 2 3mm 8x4 ply boards.
As the bank account i on empty (the only money in there is to pay for the roof rack and to have some plates made and it all fitted.
Plus if there is time, I think I have just enough left over to pay Ken to fit the water tanks and plumb into the van.
So if we cannot get the sheets from the workshop we will be stuff for 2-3 weeks, till I can have the money sat in the bank.
As the roll of Dodo sound deaden-er & insulation, is nearly all used up, we decide to carry on, so we start on the lower side frames
Then I look at the last remaining bit of 3mm 3 ply we have left, and I am sure it will just fit behind the toilet, in fact we have to trim a little bit off one side.
As we were pulling all the mains cable thru towards the kitchen area so it would not be in the way, we knocked of the bathroom battery lid and everything that was sat on top of it..
Lynne kindly gets down on her knees and picks it all up.
and in goes the board, it still need squaring up and moving a very small bit, but it will do ...
Lynne goes inside to get one more roll of the Dodo insulator, as we have decided that we will insulate the big panel behind the board and then screw the board in place..
But I am getting forward with the idea, we still have to do it.
So we have removed the board so we can insulate this panel, Tape is just to hold it all in place until we get the board back up.
Back in goes the board for the last time
A bit of jiggly the board around and we soon have it as straight as we can go.
and we start to use some of the old Ford Panel clips that I removed
They will be painted over, so should not be noticeable.
We spent a good hour or so building the bathroom/kitchen cabinet.
And it just fits in the bathroom, unfortunately not where I wanted it to go as the bulk head gets in the way!
and it would have covered up the top of the 3 ply board that we have fitted to the wall.
But it looks like that is gonna have to change now.
We are gonna sleep on it and look at it with fresh eyes in the morning..
We just could not help our selves as Lynne got the boxes setup and in the unit. Its Gonna look good..
Today has without doubt been the longest day I have spent on the transit for many a year, in fact I cannot remember when I last did 11 hours working on the transit.
So we are both really bushed and are hoping to sleep like babies tonight..
Today has been another great day, just a nice steady pace, that seems to eat into the jobs and gets them done in relatively quick order.
Today we have come to a point, I was hoping did not matter!
The lack of funds means that I cannot keep buying items, so they are sat here ready to use when we need them.
The bathroom/kitchen wall need some sheets of 8x4 3mm hardwood ply boards, and we just do not have the funds for them, so that wall unfortunately has come to a STOP.
Also the bathroom sink, as they sent the wrong waist pipe that is also now on hold as it came from Amazon warehouse and you only get 30 days!.
We have found a few bits that do not fit our needs and they will be listed shortly
As my plans have changed!
Probably for a week or two, but only time will answer that question.
This weekends sales was not bad, but not good enough to help restock the bank account. All I can do is keep listing and hope that people want what I have listed..
I have some more disco cables to test n list, and then a light or two will be next and then some of the Large PA equipment will soon be listed..
So I will keep my fingers crossed that some of the disco items will sell, but a lot will probably hang around for 3-4 months, as a lot of it is specialist equipment and not every dj will go down that route.
