the prices may put some people off,
but this preserved live gives real value for money.
With the new extension and station now added making the journey even longer and giving many more great scenic routes.
But as I have worked at Nene Valley railway, I have an idea at just what it costs to put a train service on and the other expenses that go with it...

Loco No2 draws a crowd as it turns around, to get ready for return trip.
Hopefully we will come back another time, as I would like to have the time to explore..
I always love to get in the engine sheds, to see what is going on and have a chat with mechanics :) :)

Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the museum as we were on the last train back maybe another time
My 2nd love stream trains, altho never enjoyed going down the line.
As I cannot work on them anymore, this is the nearest I get, unless I can get into the workshops n chat with the other engineers.
These days am happy to go down the line
Its time to head back home for the nite.
Luckily we are on the last train back to the station...
Ok probably only there 10 mins or so at each stop, but we often enjoy them as much as other things we visit
When we travel places,we often spot little gems that many people just drive past without a look or thought.
So on the way home from our other days out, we will try and re-find them
and park up n take up a closer look.
Were back home for the night
and we are all knackered
