Strawbs comes around, and between us, we are determined to finish workbench shelving,
as he is busy for the next month or so,
So altho both of us feel like utter shit.
We drag ourselves down the workshop.
Huge thanks m8 as usual above and beyond but very much appreciated..
We soon have the 4 horizontal pieces found n cut to length
followed shortly after by the uprights
we start to dry build the shelf framework
That's the front made
Considering how warped and bent this 3x3 is - it all level
The back soon follows, but in doing this I burn out the bench saw
well its not really meant to cut tenon joints, hopefully it will just need some new bushes.
As I have run out of brackets.
we screw the shelf supports from the back with 4" screws
I have no suitable wood for shelving in workshop,
so we nip into the old shed and find a large piece of boarding,
already painted on one side
The Top shelf is cut to fit.
then the next shelf is fitted
and the lower two shelves soon follow
The front almost drops straight in and we soon have it all screwed together and to the back of the workshop.
That's it today folks, were both rough as shit and we both going home to bed!
Hopefully to feel better in the morning
Norton Commando - Y'all are doing great work. I wish I could be there to help out. Or to hand out the pints at the end of the day.
Gary Strawbridge - One vote for handing out the pints!
Stephen Osborn - Does sound a promising idea
