Hi Mee.................... -Today is one we want to forget in a hurry!!

Neither of us woke up very well, and with me crashing out early last night, meant that non of the prep work had been done, so after a hot chocolate, I went out to the transit, carrying one of the 3 boxes we would hopefully be needing today.

I moved a few things to the floor, and moved other stuff, so it would fall over whilst travelling, and managed to get the 2 water tanks into the transit.

I grabbed some changes of clothes just in case of an accident and we are on our way.
Stopped of for some scooby snacks and lunch and carried on to Wrangle.

It soon became apparent that driving in heaving fog, was playing up my my eyes and it was hard to drive, in fact we nearly turned around a few times!.

But we persevered, as we both wanted the roof rack fitting finally, and we were hoping that there would be time to get the water tanks fitted and plumbed into the van.

When we arrived, we were taking a few mins to get over the drive and me to rest my eye, and then Ken came out not looking very well.
He had just got outa hospital, and was not well enough to do the roof rack this morning, I was just about to say we will leave it for today, but something in his eyes told me to not say anything. Anyway he said he was gonna nip home for a few hours and would be back around 1pm.

So we went up the road and sat in a layby, we did get in the back, but without power there was not much we could do except have a bit of a tidy up.

So we headed back to Boston and withdrew some money to pay Ken, and pass a bit of time and then drove slowly back to his workshop.

His colleague came out and said he does not think Ken will be back, so we agree to leave it for the day, but we did have a good chat about how the conversion is going..

so we headed back home, at traffic lights in Boston some idiot rammed us in the back, to be honest we did not feel anything.

Anyway he started ranting n raving about us reversing into him, My immediate thoughts were insurance scam or worse some one was gonna try n track our transit, so when the lights went green, that car I was gonna use as a witness, started to go and we went as well.

He followed us a fair way home, and I managed to overtake a lorry and there was a very long string of traffic coming the other way, so I turned off and went home via one of the many back roads.

To our surprise there was a police car a few doors down the road, that pulled up as we parked up.

We invited them in and they explained this person had reported the incident and that I was drunk ??

So a quick breath test proved that I had no alcohol in my system, and proceeded to give my account of what happened.
I said that if he had followed us all the way to Spalding I would stop at the police station, but as he had not, I was gonna phone as soon as we got in...

Anyway they not interested, so was a total waist of police time.

Anyway it has shaken both of us up somewhat, so I took me meds and went to bed for an hour or so, to let them kick in and didn't wake till after 11pm.

I am still somewhat shaky now, but at least my eye is a bit better and I can see clearly out of it with around 50% vision,  so I am gonna grab a bite to each take more meds as I slept thru the 4pm & 8pm dosages and head back to bed.

So a total waist of a day, that could not be avoided, I hope tomorrow goes far better!!
