17th September 2019 - Timothy's Corner Update.

Published on 30 October 2022 at 01:38

Its a nice day and I head on out side to potter around in Tims Corner

I have added 2 jobs for Timothy's Corner this week, and this will be the first

Now the weeds have died off, from what I strimmed last week

Its time to think about doing something about it !!

So out comes the brush, from the workshop

And It takes a bit of doing but now looks a lot better

The wooden board edge is just a temp measure,

as at the time of me prepping and laying the slabs,

we did not have enough money to finish it properly

But I notice that the edge slabs have moved a bit,

so I think I will try and get the edge done before winter sets in.
It will also mean me clearing yet more weeds n Nettles so I have space to work with

I brought these earlier in the year,

there are others amongst the weeds as well.
I need to get them washed,

any broken trays thrown away or repaired and put were I will be using them !
Another job added to my list

At the moment they are in my way !!!!

But with everywhere overfull I am really struggling to get anything done at all !
I need some inspiration from somewhere!!

So I have a look around,

I know there is no room in the workshop to store them,

nor in the green shed,

which is slowly being emptied out,

so I can finish working on the inside walls.

So I sweep the tip of the triangle

and unhappily for now I have no choice but to stack the boxes and there trays

This slab is in my way and when I picked it up,

it slipped thru my hands and fell behind the roof trusses

It's time to clear all this bloody weeds,

As we cannot find anything that will kill it,

Our only recourse is to burn it in the fire barrel,
Luckily we have more than enough rubbish to keep having fires, it's just finding the time..

That looks better
Vincent is waiting for his replacement MAG wheel, its on the way from the USA, so god only knows how long that will take.
Meanwhile, when I came down to work on Tim's Corner, I removed the weather sheet, to let it all dry out

Alan was out a bit earlier and we had a great chat as usual, while we both sat n rested either side of the hedge..

But the wooden flower put, don't fit in as I want it
So for now have put it in sideways for now.

But plenty of room at the other end to move the whole lot and make more room
But when I tried to move the green sheet that's over an old bench,

something happened and that was the end of my day
