Another month has gone by and the 3-4 workshop refurb enters its 3rd Month
enough of that,
lets crack on as today's a really busy day with listing items on Ebay and Items ending,
so hoping tomorrow will be a busy day processing them ready to post on Monday.
Up goes the roof liner
Andrew Smith - Its looking good and its going to be toasty warm next winter.
Stephen Osborn - it already is - not had heater on for last few days
I move the hardboard on top of The Big One
So i have room to get the fireproof polystyrene insulation in the workshop
and have room to measure n cut
up goes the first piece
then the next one soon follows
With Michael's help we cut n screw up the hardboard cover,
but he didn't manage to stop me from shaping the wrong side
it soon has its first coat of paint
ceiling wise, that just
leaves this lot to do,
i just don't know how to do it at the moment.
From the old pillar drill unit,
I destroyed ages ago
I soon have it removed from the old top and tacked in place on the small bench
Looks better,
just making sure there's enough room on the bench for the vice.
in goes the first shelf
As i will be using this bench with angle grinder amongst other things, the blue boxes will be filled with grinding/cutting discs and the 3rd one will have any grinder/portable drill tools
oops forgot to check to see if its level
up goes the next one
and finally the top one, all off cuts,
including the wood for the shelves
Not sure yet what will go in the grey boxes,
but sure I wont struggle to fit them
The vice is bolted in and done up real tight
and now ready for use
Although more painting is needed on the bench.
the hand drills in there home
I have a cunning plant, to tidy up this area, but will it work !
the top 2x2 is well n truly screwed in place
then another 2x2 is screwed below it
bummer forgot about the bloody wires
The Blue socket wire is easy, i just remove the last temp socket and feed it thru.
The white cables, not gonna be so easy tho as its in use for the only 2 lights currently working and they are over the workbench.
the mains cable tunnel covers, will have to come down
It don't take long, but its too dark to unplug the lights tonight.
So will do it tomorrow first thing
That's it for today, my legs n shoulders are giving me real grief,
so soon be a bath, guitar practice and bed
