I am sat in my comfy chair and just looking at the front end and next thing I know I have started to strip the front brake caliper from temp mount
Yep the caliper has pads !
In good enough order for what I want for now.
So back on goes the caliper
Damm !
Only 1 hole lines up, in the right position !
With the caliper mounted on the disc as it should be.
So for now out comes the cable ties !!
I hunt around in one of my boxes of Honda Big one spare parts and find a front brake reservoir, and an old broken broom handle
I find a bango bolt and 2 good washers and join them to the braided hose on CBRTIM
Took a while but finally managed to get the old broom handle in place
and adjust the master cylinder so it sits level
and cable tie the brake lever to the old broom handle
and fill up the reservoir,
Luckily for me there was a small amount of fluid still in the reservoir, so fingers crossed the seals will be good enough for now
I find the brake bleed kit
Lets see what happens
and set it up and altho loads of pumping nothing happens..
will now leave for 24 hours, hoping that the fluid will be sucked thru as it pushes out the air (well that's the plan)
