Morning Everyone
Always Nice way to end the month off with a final update on CBRTIM.
This month we have been blessed with a few updates !
As Kev has become more familiar with our vision and how he can achieve it.
I must admit to it being very hard to remain so remote from the build !!
A lot of it is down to my health and some down to Kev (wanting to work alone on CBRTIM)
As once we have discussed our ideas and settled to what we are looking for, he works quicker without any interference from me.
Something I am having to comes to terms with Just Like Maz has had to do !
Today, off to see Kev & CBRTIM
Pic above - Tiger & Jasmin on Timothy's Bed.
Just over an hour later and we are at Kev's Workshop and we start by seat and floorboard fitting out.
As always Before I head up to Kev's Workshop,
He is after bits, and often they have been buried in the workshop !
So as I find them, I put them together, on The Bike Bench till it is SOLD ( Just need to get it empty and take apart and clean and oil all moving parts)
and then we can load up the transit with them.
Just as normally, I will be bringing some items, back with us, that are not required at this stage !!
The Bike Bench, is a handy place for me to sort thru the boxes,
so I take as much as Kev needs & anything, I think he may need
One of CBRTIM'S Side Panniers !!
Will load up with smaller and fragile items :) :)
And the other Side Pannier
On a custom ???
All will be revealed later on
Found my back rest !!
This will make all the difference to me when we start the longer distances and riding daily...
, I like to have them in boxes for taking upto Kev's usually NOT FULL
So we can move stuff around and then I can leave boxes with parts in for Kev, or if they gave gone to far - throw them out.
Finally found one of the manuals !
Ok this one is not for the Big One, but 99% of info is correct.
But for now it will help Kev, for the information he needs.
Still searching for the original Honda Manuals
More bits possibly for CBRTIM.
Time for fitting out for floor boards
Kev, he soon found out just how limited movement I have, but he came up with some good ideas
No Pic, But Lynne was soon seated as well and this was when you could tell the
hardwork Maz n Me had put in as with Side Pannier added, there was plenty
of clearance
We had removed the silencers before this pic was taken,
but Just shows how far the Build has progressed this year
Mocking up time, trying to find were my legs are most comfortable
Kev's measuring us up, several times
to make sure measurements are correct....
and everything just falls into place
Now ready for the Floor board frame work
to begin.
Floor Boards Details marked on the floor
Few more mixed bits ready to go with us.
Huge thanks to Young Michael & Lynne for loading up the transit for me
