I was struggling with this area, from the start.

But Kev's come up with a brill solution

the tool box lid is fixed to the bottom of the top box, hinged at the front and held down with the over centre clips.

Some tidying up, of the bottom of the main petrol tank.

Ready for the new petrol tap holes, to be drilled..

Have had to removed the rear 2 threaded studs mounts, as no room for the fuel taps !!

My fault as I couldn't make up my mind & didn't have the fuel taps, till after Maz had added them.

Fuel Taps now in place.

Cost a fair bit, but they came highly recommended :) :)

And is another small job, crossed of the huge list, still to be done...

Original filler holes, all cut back flush and new central filler hole drilled out..

New filler cap in place :):)

Altho still gotta sort breather pipe out !

Time to Start filling in the old tank petrol filler holes :) :)

removed the original and unnecessary mounts, from the original sized smaller tank !!

Rear petrol tank mounts removed, from the top tube, as they got in the way of the petrol tapes !!

rear Tab made and spot welded in place :) :)

Toolbox hooks coming along nicely..

The filler cap hole for the auxiliary tank, is drilled out :) :)

& the battery box is in there too..

Side Pannier mounts all made up :) :)

Will have to be quick release, somehow as won't go down the passage way with them fitted...

A fertile mind can solve an issue that has plagued me, for Years!!

it will be a bit different but this is the basic format. it will be QD to aid wheel removal.
