Ho Folks.
am up bright n early again today, so after a hot chocolate and me meds, I am gonna make a start on the paper folders in the main drawer in my Computer desk!.
For a while anyway...
I have been putting this job off, for quite a while now, but now is the right time for me to try and get it sorted.
So out comes the bottom draw, as this is why I need to sort these drawers out and get them back into use and on there runners.
I have at least 2 shopping bags full of papers n stuff, I have found so far in the computer room clear out, and I do not want to start a 3rd.
This draw id fowling the larger draw below, or at least I thought it was !.
But looking at this pic, all looks as it should be.
but it will come out anyway and I can make sure the runners are nice n tight and the wheels are also turning freely..
And out comes the top drawer.
This draw is so full of paperwork, that it will definitely benefit, from being able to put papers away properly in the bottom draw!.
But for now, I just stack the papers onto my chair, that I have been clearing, so that when the draw goes back it will close.
In goes the middle draw first, purely because it is easier for me.
Once I have things sorted and some more space, I will sort thru this draw, as I suspect 50% at least can be SOLD off!.
Meaning I will have room to move my Computer parts into the draw instead of being scattered on my desk.
In goes the top drawer, it takes a few try's before I get it on the runners properly and now most of the papers have been removed, the draw closes nicely.
This draw will also be gone thru and most will be listed in the next few days I hope.
And after several tries we finally have all 3 draws back into my computer desk, but also opening and closing as they should.
Now the real work can start, which will hopefully make the computer room look a lot less a mess with paper work laying everywhere!
But before I can start adding paper work into this drawer I need to sort out what is in there first!.
and get it all in Alphabetical order.
And I suspect this job is gonna take me a few hours to do..
Do not remember buying this???
but will have a few more pics taken and end up on Ebay for this weekend hopefully.
I thought I had finally listed all these yesterday !!!
But have just found a load more, to sort n list...
As I have come across a few bits of Timothy's Papers n stuff, I decide this will be the first folder I will name.
It's not the proper card, as not found any, but it looks good, so I am happyish..
It has taken me all week, but finally another back of rubbish is full up and taken outside ready for dustmen later in the week...
Mind you there has been no large bits of rubbish for this bag, so just small bits and they always take ages to fill the bag up...
Found this newspaper clipping laying in the bottom of the draw, so with a protective plastic sleeve, it is now in Timothy's Folder.
Yeah I did read it and the emotions are as raw as ever!..
This folder is empty, so I take the tag off it and put the folder to one side, to be re used.
I will be needing these soon, for after I have tested all the Disco Equipment prior to selling it all off.
But for now, I create a tag label and now back in the draw.
I know I have more of these plus a roll !
I just do not know where.
I will use these fist, and if I do not need the roll will sell that on.
This was laying at the bottom of the draw, so now "Gas & Electric" there own folder.
I think there is another one in the kitchen, that is for the newest boiler, so this may need going thru and shred anything that no longer covers us.
Finally the Transit gets it's own folder, I know there are receipts and paperwork all over the house, so to have it all together will be a real bonus.
Plus I will be taking this folder with me, when I go to Scotland next year.
For now, this will cover Timothy's, Lynne's & my Computers.
But if it gets to cluttered will split it into a folder for each Computer.
We have far more of these sleeves than we need, so so problems there...
Found these label clips in the bottom of the drawer and already have come in handy :) :)
There is also a small sheet of labels :) :)
We have envelopes of various sizes, all over the place, so to have them all together would be great.
we have various sizes, I will put them all together for now, but I may split the A4 envelopes into there own folder later on.
These are all over the Computer room, as I pull them from there box and then slide away and I can never find them, so this folder will be a great bonus.
I use these envelopes for magazines I sell as when I brought them a long time ago they were dirt cheap.
Pile of items all will be stating today on 5 day listing (ends on Saturday) when I will change any that are not SOLD to 7 day auto listings.
Hopefully there will be more listed and joining this pile later on...
The folder guides keep sliding of the back rails and jamming up, so I remove a handful of the folders for now.
So as the end stops are missing, I bend the ends to stops the folder rails from falling off...
Dunno why I am keeping these, as I have no memories of them at all.
but I put them in a sleeve just in case...
Shopping bag, I have been using for storing papers/postage bags etc, when found in tidy up.
15 mins later this bag is history and everything is now in there permanent homes....
I have been slowly sorting thru this draw, all the paperwork is in there folders, I have chucked everything that I can see that is rubbish.
So it's a case of going thru it and putting to one side what I want to keep or belongs to my computer!
The rest will have there pics taken and will be Listed!.
Have found a few mobile phones, so am looking for there power supplies to charge them - if they work they will be listed.
Lynne's Computer needs some of these :) :)
Presume it's from one of Timothy's Computers, but is now listed on Ebay as I have no use for it.
