20th December 2022 - Some items have arrived for the Conversion!

Published on 21 December 2022 at 13:16

Hi Folks.

Another day when parts have arrived, plus I have been down town at B&Q and brought some more items :) :)

I am planning of getting into the transit tomorrow, if all goes to plan and finally getting some work done.

I have stuff stored all over the house and I need to get them into the transit, so I need the toilet room done, so i can store parts there.

Plus some items will be used during the conversion, but I think I have enough to get me past Xmas with what is still to arrive, to keep me busy, even if I have to do bit's here and there to get around items I need to buy or work done to the van body ( IE Windows, extractor fan)

Plastic Twist-On Water Strainer Fits for RV Camper Trailer Water Pump.

For the sink has arrived....

I thought long and hard about, do I actually need this, as I will be drinking Bottled Water (out of preference).

But just in case, I run out I decided for the £7.99 it cost, it would be a better option to have it fitted.

The filter is easy to clean and reuse, but I will buy a spare and have on hand just in case..

I liked the 1st one I brought that I brought 5 more, so USB charging ports should be well catered for :) :)

Victron Energy Argo FET Battery Isolators 200-3AC (3 Batteries 200 amp)

This should hopefully be more than powerful enough, for my needs.

Voice Control Caravan Roof Vent Fan, RV Air Vent Ventilation with Rain Sensor, Automatic Level Permanent Reversible Fan 12V for RV Motorhome (14" Voice+Remote control)

I am not sure if I will install this unit.
I think I may ask around to see how much it would cost to have it installed.

TOPWAY Cordless Drill Driver 12V, Battery Powered Screwdriver with 10mm Keyless Chuck, 2 Speed, LED Light and 1X Battery Included.
only £20.00 but has lots of really positive reviews, so decided to take a gamble!

This will be coming with me, altho I will make up a USB lead for it.

I nipped down to the local B&Q Store for a few more bits....

universal woodsaw 9tpi 500mm

I know I have a saw somewhere, but its blades are to coarse for what I will be needing so got this.

Now I just gotta hope that I can use it and not knacker myself up.

Not planning on being at sites with hook, up, but just in case, I have brought 2 of these sockets and backing.

1 will be buy the bed, the other buy the kitchen area.

Only other thing is I have 6 down lights that will be

hooked to mains as well.
The other set of 6 down lights in the ceiling, will be powered by solar.

Very basic, but I think that's all that I will need mains wise.

TOWER UPVC WHITE SELF-ADHESIVE MINI TRUNKING 25MM X 16MM X 2M

I am hoping that this will be enough trunking for the mains wire, but knowing my luck, I will need part of another one, but we will not know until I mount the trunking to were I want it to go.

Mac Allister 3.6V 1.3Ah Li-ion Cordless Screwdriver MSSD36T-Li

Saw this for £15.00, so I thought just in case I get some help, plus it will mean I can carry on whilst the other drivers battery re charges...

This will be coming with me, altho I will make up a USB lead for it.

Brought these just to cut the trunking and any other plastic items.

This will be in the tool box, I am taking these with me..

SUPERCOVE PLASTIC MITRE BOX

This should help my shaking hands cut in straight lines..

Not sure the 2 strips of the trunking will be enough, but will not know till later.

And the sliders are just because I am lazy

I still need to get some string so that once it is all hidden away, if I have any issues, I can

pull replacement wire thru, and then pull the old wire out, leaving the string there, for the next time if needed!

That's it for today, I did have a delivery that needs a password, typical he came  a few hours earlier than what the online tracking was telling me, so gotta drive down town again to the collection point and pick it up.
