hello again folks.
I am now in the warmth or the workshop.
The more insulation I get installed and draughts sealed up the warmer and dryer it's getting...
Which for my health is gonna make so much difference.
The way things are going, on really cold days only gonna need heating on for around 20-30 mins before being T-shirt temperature in winter time :) :)
And fingers crossed nice n cool in summer :) :)
Right let's move on, as usual nothing really planned,
I will just be happy with what I can get done.
Some small boxes of stuff,
that I have acquired from "Wombat (Alan Viggers)"
and he had already labelled the boxes
fits here nicely
I have been thru this box 3-4 times now and its all going in the bin!
All tipped into an old box and taped up and put in rubbish bag.....
That's the first bag of rubbish
ready to be taken up top for dustman
and this empty box can stand outside the workshop for now
( will use in brown shed to put items i want to sell in )
but I filled this container up !
mainly nuts n bolts most are new.
now ready to be sorted
when i get nut n bolt shelf made next week
custom indicator lens and couple of rubbers.
left over from trike build
will be on ebay later on. 99p start
couple of odd reliant engine/gearbox mounts
from when we owned a Rialto back in early 90's
will be on ebay over next few days 99p start
up comes the next box
To be sorted thru.
mmmmm I wonder, just how many of these boxes I have ??
Maybe make a shelf and re use them at some stage....
making some space under the workbench
( need to clear it all out to finish insulating and panelling )
the workshop top bench is filling up nicely.
not sure yet just how much will stay here as shelf space becomes less scarce.
only time will tell.
Another box empty and put outside ready to be reused later on
Temp cover over new side door window -
till I can sort out some thick curtains.
Time to do something with this lot as the Big One is in my way
The big one, slowly getting uncovered once more..
that's the wood out of the way
hung up the wood
Here till I get brown shed sorted and it can go in there
right lets sort this pile out!
find some 3x2
but more importantly
for me
some brackets and some screws
Lathe in its new home,
It not only needs a good clean,
but levelling as well, before use.
Alan Viggers - when u clean it don't forget to oil all of it so no rust
Stephen Osborn - I wont - plenty of oil I have
this area getting slowly emptier.
More stuff on the workbench shelving, temporarily
now to sort thru this stuff on old plastic shelving
top cleared
some went here
rest went this side
no drill as it burnt out,
so put all the bits in a tub and binned the case.
Will be on Ebay shortly, as GS750 Sold ages ago.
Will be on Ebay shortly, as GS1000 Sold ages ago.
Will be on Ebay shortly - Only had as I used to fit Super dream Reg/rec units to my Honda 550/4 SOHC Chop :) :)
that looks a lot better
Ok piled some boxes of stuff on top of the wood off cuts box for now
left front foot peg for honda cbr1000f Hurricane (and maybe others)
Will be on Ebay shortly
now that's more like it.
and is giving me heart to continue as showing on right track.....
Unfortunately still some large fire proof polystyrene and other bits that I have had to put behind the bike
Sat down with a bottle of water and decide that the red toolbox can stay were it is,
but needs to be higher,
so will build a frame and bolt it into it
I would like to keep the lower wall clear, but shelving on upper parts
the bushes
from the chop saw - are still good
Probably end up on ebay as spares or repair!, shame as could do with it over the next week or so.
I do have another one out on loan, will probably go n collect it if i get held up.
I decide that I will do this part of the roof insulation first,
so after measuring up wood stood in front of side door start to cut it....
but when i tried again to cut wood as soon as it cut sparks and fuse went
so don't know whats up with it !
Now I am in darkness!
I trace it back to the extension in the kitchen,
unfortunately the freezer is on the same lead, so have to hunt around for a 13 amp fuse!
Now all working again but I have had enough for today.
