21st September 2011 - Garden Clear up!

Published on 4 July 2023 at 02:24

Not done an update on the garden for a few weeks now, but The kids n Mrs C have been busy...

They found were I had hidden the windbreaks we havent used for some 10 years and used them to block off the bottom garden area from the rest for Zoe's 21st Birthday party.

They have all done a cracking job of relaying the slabs, and again used another win break and made a nice sitting area for Zoe's party.

This area was piled high with rubble and general rubbish.

with a cane fence to hide the bit not tidied up.

But I can now get one of me scaffold boards lined up to edge this area and start getting it ready to concrete.

This area will be higher due to Tree stumps n other rubbish hidden underneath the rubble and road grit. But once slabbed, I will make some benches put some outside lighting - and will make a nice secluded area that cannot be overlooked in any way.

This area used to have slabs on and was were we used to part the transit (when we had rear access) the slabs have been removed and the kids brought some seed and its already starting to come thru and look better.

In the corner by the blue shed, there used to be 2 trees that I kept hacking back irregually.

Young Micky has managed to dig them both out - took him 2 weeks tho

will be first

This area has never had anything done to it since we moved in in 92.

But the girls & Mrs C have dug it over n put some flowers in and it looks very good.

The area outside the kitchen is looking great now with plenty of room.

Still got loads to sort out here to make it even tidier
