I know I will probably need more of this 2amp rated 12v wire, but then again maybe not as only got 4 items it will be used for!.
Altho this wire will be in trunking, it worked out a very similar price to buying it without the shielding.
So I went the 1p per mtr extra and brought the shielded wire.

Those who have been following me, are probably wondering why I brought this, as I already have one....
Well as I have split my Solar/ Shared Charging battery packs into 2 separate items, for ease I decided to have a front and rear fuse box for the 12 volt systems.
They will be linked via a switch? so I can
switch between the two as needed, (not sure how yet).
but also in some cases each bank of batteries will be used for specific items (IE:- the rear banks main job will be for my Sleep Machine) as we do not know just how much will be left after sleeping sessions until we start to use the camper and write things down, I am just making sure that we have at least 90% redundancy.
Subject to finishing the conversion before end of March when I am hoping to go to Scotland, we are trying to fit a weekend away at Thetford and nip in and see Emma n Timmy during part of the day, but will use the transit as if we are away on holiday, to see how things work out and any snags that need to be sorted before I go...

This took some researching, the common opinion appeared to be 16mm 130 amp's was more than enough, even for split charging, But I upped them figures to give even more spare leeway!.
I have brought it in lengths as just cheaper than buying pre-made, that was often just too short of couple inches too long!!.
So I brought the lugs & crimping tool, again they will have there own storage space.

Those that have been watching the latest Vincent Update, will know the battery charger is not charging, and Vincent's home is a wood storage place at the moment!
So I cannot find my trickle charger, which would be no good as his battery is very flat altho not dead.
When I have finished charging Vincent's Battery this will be installed as part of my mains battery charging system.
The generater already has a charger inbuilt, but I have not looked at the instructions yet to see if I can set the am-page I want or whether that one is pre-set.
So it will not go to waist.

Lynne wanted a shower and as I do not really have the space inside, plus I did not want to deal with leakage issues down the line, this is my compromise.
This will sit between the open rear doors ( I still need to sort a full door height to floor sheeting for extra privacy.
The shower we have so far settled on, Lynne will try out.
When we get some warmer days, we will be trying out to assemble and put away the shower shelter, So hopefully it will be quick n easy for us when away.

I am just back from Andrews after spending a chunk of money on some more timber, that I will be using most of this week.
Today has been a good steady day, nothing done in the van today, but Monday's have sorta become what we call a "BITZA" day.
This started mainly due to weekends are the only time that Lynne is able to help me, so apart from spells of Keeping up with items SOLD, between our rest breaks from the conversion.
This often left Monday's playing catch up up on processing SOLD items, and to give myself a break from that and sitting here, I try to find those sorta jobs, that will typically take less than 20-30 mins to do, (some turn into longer).
It is also the day that any serious research for the conversion items/ideas before I get to talk to Lynne, or maybe we have spoken about it and spend some time finding the same product but cheaper else where on line. (Today it was "CBE Caravan fresh and Waste Water Tank Level Indicator Gauge Kit" and managed to find a site selling this £30.00 cheaper than elsewhere :) :) )
Also I have started to really look at the under floor water tanks, and looks like I am gonna spend more time on this, as I will need to buy withing the next week, As they take around 70-10 days to arrive.
So Tomorrow, will see me back in the transit and back on the conversion, for a large chunk of the day..
