Hi Folks.............. - Bit of a short update!
Cheapest quote I can get to repair teh Transit !!!
Way outa my price range....
Needless to say will not be going to that garage !!
It's just a shame that I am not well enough to do this myself, as I could but all the bits including the ECU programmer for less !!
So I have spoken to Ken, and advised as much as I would prefur to replace all the injectors (Remember done under 11000 miles from new!) that just to do enough to get it running properly and to get me to Scotland.
As I cannot get the van started and cannot see at all from my left eye, I posted on FB and a frind of mine, contacted a friend of his and we have agreed a price to collect the transit and take it to Ken's workshop.
All collected and after a good chat with the breakdown crew, I turned away with loads of tears, wandering if I can ever afford to get the transit back or wether it will have to be SOLD to cover the repair costs ?????.................................
Cost so Far £150.00

This is the perfect web site for anybody who really wants to find out about this topic. You understand a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I really would want to?HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic that's been discussed for many years. Excellent stuff, just excellent!
Hi, Many thanks for your comments.
I try to keep my language simpile, so that everyone can understand what is going on, with my Conversion.
I find many of the vids, posts confusing as I think they are necessarily over complicated or use words that have no meanings for me.
I have always works on Bikes, carts Steam Loco's vans and other mechanical things, but I have no training and as my schooling was in the 70's where actually doing the work, was far more important than being able to do the theory stuff ( yep thats really boring and frustrating for me).
Also as I find it hard to put down in words, what I am attempting, I have look write as I look at things and decide how to do things.
as has been shown in the photo albums, I do not always get it right 1st time, but I learn from the mistakes I make, a far more satisfying way for me to do what I love.
When I 1st started working on Steam Loco's (and Computing Jobs)in the 80's & 20's, I bluffed my way in and with the way my Schooling & my Granddad teached me,
The one thing both taught me and still teh same some 50 years later on, is that try your best and if you still not happy ask a college or someone for advise and explain what you have tried.
Anyway I hope you enjoy my Albums and keep posting your comments.
This site is still having older albums added as time, health and finding them & my notes taken at the time, as well as trying my best to keep things upto date.
