A small update today, but an important one :) :)
Not only because it made me smile, but was a surprise as I had totally forgotten all about it..
When I looked there was a message for me on messenger. and some pics :) :)
And this is the message.....
"Hi Big Fella,
hope you are doing well Here are a couple of pics of your completed bolt and bush kits for the girder fork link bars on CBRTIM.
There are 2 complete kits as requested - the close up pic shows the correct order of assembly,
obviously the 2 top hat bushes go in either side of the tubular end of the link bars.
WARNING - DO NOT place the bushes on paper or cardboard (or in paper bags or cardboard boxes) unless they are protected by plastic bags
the bushes are Oilite,
which is Phosphor Bronze that has been impregnated with oil,
the friction washers have less oil (well they are friction washers).......
I am just waiting for the correct size grubscrews to turn up,
and then I can post them to you - postage will be charged at cost. What address do you want them sent to?"
As it appears that the Alan bolts have gone for a walk about.
And I cannot find the bushes in the workshop....
So I have had 2 complete sets made up for CBRTIM. :) :)
Gonna have to get a safe for valuable parts like this, as not cheap.
I just wish I was well enough to get down the workshop....
