after working since 3am on the ASC rally stuff, managed to get an hour down the shed to try something.
I know the diaphram carbs on the old engine are good, so the idea is to see if i can use them instead.
some people have said that suzuki only used 1 head for the gs1000
And here we go another gs myth BUSTED !
the inlet rubber on the left is for slide carbs - 26mm - the one on the left 36mm - that's on the side that bolts to the engine.
Also the bores that the carb rubbers mount to are diff sizes.

Paul Keeble - Not something silly like a sticky float in the carb or even a bit of sticky varnish petrol in the float bowl? although to me and Karen is sounds out of sink,, not fireing 180degrees out is it?
