2nd December 2023 - Life n Grimes of Mr C

Morning me,... A ride out to Peterboro and KingsLynn today.

A few weeks back we won some laser printers on Ebay at 99p each.

Finally today I feel well enough to drive and pick them up, So Lynne n me head off around 10.30am.

We arrived in Stanground (P'Boro) in good time, as I was only driving between 45/50mph which is fast enough for me as I get re-used to driving and coping with my illnesses.

Whilst loading up, he offered us  2 more laser printers for FREE, I just cannot turn that offer down, even tho we do not really have the space.

The larger 2 All in one printers are gonna take longer for me to sort.

We want one to replace our ageing Epson sx200 and the other hopefully will be SOLD as a working printer or broke for spares if uneconomical.

Not sure if the larger printers is just Tonor needed or there are other issues.

Time will tell

But they appear to have not a long with them, and it will be interesting to see if I can still strip printers down and repair them with my shaky hands.

Once the smaller Printers are rebuilt and serviced, they will be SOLD off and money will be going into the Conversion/Scotland Pot!.

Next we head off to Kings Lynn to look at an awning for the transit.

The sat nav refused to pick up any sat alights, so Lynne had to use here phone, only for us to find out we were going towards Ely !!

This was a lot further away that we thought, so as I had already advised the seller, we were on our way, we headed of to his house.

On arrival we had a great chat and he had the poles out as I requested and we measured them up to my transit and they fit.

I just need to get the awning rail that is attached to van and the awning slides into.

He only wanted £50.00 for it!

So we ended up buying it and we were looking at treble that for similar size awnings....

So he head towards the A10, just before Kings Lynn we stop at garage and Lynne puts some air in the tyres for me and we put some fuel in at the same time.

Then we head for home, the last 15 miles were telling on me, concentration, not sure where we were and tiredness, as well as a lot of pain.

We arrived home just before 5pm Lynne n Michael brought the Printers indoors and we had a lovely mug of hot chocolate, I took some med's and headed for bed.

Next thing I know its 11am Sunday Morning !!

Today we did far more than we expected and we were both over the moon at how well I did.

Only a few dribbles into the incontinence towel, but did not have to worry about stopping, now that was a real bonus, but asks a big question ???

Is my incontinence worse whilst I am stuck at home, doing nothing, thinking nothing, sleeping most of the days away ??

And whilst I am driving, is the concentration required, doing something helping me unconsciously ??
