Hi everyone.
Not a good day today, am double dosed up on Tramadol as Kidney Stone has moved and some has broken off, causing me to bleed and be in a lotta pain when passing water. So most of today was spent curled up in bed....
I did get down for a short while and add some more pics to a photo album I am working on, and found a load of pics that I had not lost as thought they were all lost in Hard drive crash.
But on one of the 2 remaining hard drives, I have of recovered files I found a load of pics from 2013 when we went to Scotland with Donald (Tim's friend and work colleague, along with some notes I made at the time we were there.
Unfortunately, we are finding out that I have no memories of these events :( :(
R-studio is my program of choice for trying to recover files from broken hard drives. So far after 24 hours its not getting very far, so looks like a platter may have gone down or become damaged.
I am committed now as I know there are a lot of folders on there, that I would like to recover if I can. Most irreplaceable. :( :(
So god now's how long before it finishes the HDD, I think if it gets to 50% and no files recovered will just stop, so that I can carry on with the rebuild.
