Hi Folks...................
I am hoping this is the final time with Lynne's Computer!!

Now I have never worked on such a stubborn computer, there is absolutely no reason, why it will not work.
But it just refuses too, I have replaced everything at least twice now, but then a thought hits me.

Now the reason I did not consider this before, as it has not been since the late 80s early 90s that I have come up against a memory incompatible issue!!!

Now I use Coursair and have for many years as it is nice n fast and reasonably priced, and altho my computer does not play games, everything I have chosen for it has had that taken into account, in case I change my mind.
And I was building Lynne's Computer along those lines as well.

So will it work ???

Last night Amazon delivered teh memory, but I was too tired and thought I would leave it till tomorrow.

So I am up got a hot chocolate and I normally process eBay sales, but this morning, I thought I would try and see if I can get Lynne's computer finally up and running.

So I take out the expensive gaming memory and fit he cheaper memory.

If this works, I will see if all the bios updates have been done if not do them and then try the better memory.

Which ever memory does not work, I will return to the sellers, of it they get arsey about a return, I will just list them at what they cost me.

I decide to bite the bullet and re assemble Lynne's computer with the new cheap memory installed!.
I am not gonna take loads of pics as if like me you are tired of them now, and if you want to see, just look in the older Albums...

Using my Crab Projector I fire up Lynne's computer, it took several goes, I cleared the CMOS and reset the Bios to defaults. and it finally it fired up.

I now have to connect the dvdr, ssd drive and finally WinJows.
But this will all be done in the enforced breaks I take from the transit.

I had to wait for Lynne to come home for some information that Winjows wanted to complete the install.
But have been testing it (I do not know how people can use winjows) it would me up so much I had to walk away.
So now I have just to connect all the leads n stuff up.

But before I close the lid I still have that seagate 2tb M2 faulty stick, so that will be plugged in and the diags software downloaded and hopefully get a replacement.
