3rd August 2013 - Were on our way to Strontian Scotland

Today we head of to Scotland, with Donald & Val.
Timothy used to go to Scotland with them a lot, and they kindly offered to show us Timothy'f favourite places.
After Loosing Timothy in September 2012 we badly needed a break and this option gave us a bonus as Donald used to work alongside Timothy at Morrisons.
Donald was always good at telling stories and what they all got up to, so should help us out a lot.

Well after not going to bed as couldn't sleep,

we are finally on the road for about 04.30AM - yes there are TWO 4.30's in a day!
We are following Val & Donald, just entering the Borders
These Pics taken by Lynne and Emma or Zoe, Me (not when I am driving)

Beautiful

Norton Commando - Fantastically Beautiful.

What lovely scenery.
We had stopped for  a rest as my legs were playing up..

I'm in a lotta pain by now, but the views make up for it.
Just driving past a motorcycle rally :) :)

We stop to fill up the tanks, as its about 5p a LTR dearer in the Highlands! apparently.
A huge mistake as with all 6 off us in Sally the Seat and all our lugguage, made going up the hills hard work with loads of gear changes, sometimes down to 2nd gear

Not what ya want if both legs really hurting.

Norton Commando - I am glad your driving. Because your used to Driving on the Left side of the roadway.

I would have to keep reminding myself.

Your not in the States. lol

We will be stopping at the border.

Micky, Zoe and Emma at border stone and Piper

Borders history board..

Norton Commando - HA-RAY!

Michael caught fast asleep :) :)

I didn't feel right,

so got Tim from the car and after a quiet word with the piper,

he kindly agreed to being in the picture.
A very nice person and chatty too.

Not far now, we are on the ferry. As soon as the ferry staff knew we were staying for a few weeks they advised up it would be cheaper to buy a book of tickets..
