Hi Folks.
It's been a while, since I felt well enough to try n sort the issues out, I am having with my part build.
A lot of that was down to getting ready for Timothy's day, and now we are all just sorta chilling and doing easy jobs, that do not require a lot of energy.

Right, I have recovered files from a faulty Hard Drive, but no matter what Hard Drive I remove, I cannot find the faulty one!

The serial numbers shown in R-Studio do NOT match the harddrives I have installed ??

So at the moment am totally stumped.

I do not really wanna strip the computer back to bits again, but I am fast coming to the conclusion, that I am gonna have to remove at least all the Hard Drives again!.

Above is highlighted the faulty harddrive.

The label just does not match any hard drive I have currently installed.

It label should read "W1E1LGAE" Confused I am !
Time for a break - breakfast and meds, I need to try n think my next steps n write them down, before I forget them..

Something tells me to go down me workshop to get multi meter whilst waiting a reply from Antec's help desk.

according to "R-Linux" this is the hard drive that is faulty !
So after backing up and recovering some files.

I remove this drive from the computer.

Now L-Linux shows this harddrive as faulty !!

Confused ??/
I am !

So I decided to go out into the garden for a while,
Whilst I try to sort my ideas out and come up with a plan.
I sit down outside of Tim's corner, as I cannot get up the step at the moment and commune, with Tim's Corner..
(P.s. I don't care if you don't believe, I didn't before Tim was taken, now he often helps me out)

After a while an idea starts to form, Time to hit some old contacts, from my "IT" days.

(Thanks Son xxxx).

Luckily for me, I have not only kept all my Contacts from when I was a IT Field Engineer But when I contacted Antec, the person I used to deal with is still there!

So I have sent him all the details of my issue and have asked for the voltage fluctuation details, so that I can check my PSU out.

Meanwhile, I am looking at a new PSU just in case mine is faulty.

I cannot believe how expensive they are now, even worse for me as when I buy anything for my Computer (and other things) I like to buy quality and also look at longevity.

I have the details, I am after :) :)

So out comes the multi meter and we have a fault on all of the hard drive outputs from the PSU (to Harddrives)
I double check all the leads and they are still good!.

So when the fan went unknowingly to me, I did not get away with it :( :(

So new PSU ordered, should be with me in a few days.
So if I go quiet for a day or large part off, do not worry it's just me stripping the computer down and adding the new PSU and gradually adding the hard drives, to make sure the same issue does not happen again...
