Hi Folks.... It has been far too long, since I was well enough to do anything on our computers!.
But today, I am gonna try n see what I can get done.
I am not actually working on our computers, but some Colour Laser Printers, I have acquired to sell off and put any profits into the transit conversion & trip fund pots.
So 1st of is one of the 2 Samsung CLP-325 Colour Laser printers.
As can be seen, this printer is in bits, and some parts (the cover panel) are missing.
I have contacted the person we got these printers from, to see if he still has them.
This guide was laying in the paper exit try.
and looks brand new!
In fact everywhere I look, I see the original safety shipping strips.
It is a shame to remove them, but once I have diagnosed the faults, will need to be removed to do test prints.
Excess Toner traps have never had any spilt toner in them, and just looks dusty.
So looks like this printer will need just a few parts & tonor, and will be ready to strip down and given a good clean.
Not a lot more I can do to this printer until seller gets back to me.
So for now will use if possible as parts for the other 325.
Found a online manual for this printer, and it appears that I am missing more than the cover !
Also missing the tonor mounts, that are attached to the cover!!
I just hope seller still has them, as would make this printer uneconomical to repair, even tho it has a page count of less that 1000 pages.....
