Hi All

A great day yesterday, with Lynne n me getting a lot done.

Updated - Jobs pencilled in till Sunday

(when busy with other things about the house, so probably will not have time to get on with the conversion).

1. Finish the frame work around the portaloo. - Need to make sink mounts when parts arrive
2. Add cross batons to bathroom/kitchen wall. -Need to make sink mounts when parts arrive
3. add sound proofing/insulation to bathroom/kitchen wall. - Started
4. find position for sink in bathroom. - Just wating on parts to arrive
5. add extra supports to mount the sink. - Just wating on parts to arrive
6. Panel the bulkhead battery frame work.
7. Area next to passenger door, needs washing and going over with wire wool.
8. Finish adding sound proof pads - loads done Saturday - need more pads when funds allow
9. Insulate it.
10. Clean old original panels - Lynne has just about washed every panel she can get too
11. Glue extra Insulation in the inside of the panels.

12. Paint the panels
13. put them back were they belong.

Double Bonus job, to have worked out and cut the bed frame & have it mounted!

as can be seen, if you look at Saturdays list, a lot has been started.

It is hard at times, as either waiting on parts to arrive, funds to order other parts, that are holding up finishing many jobs.

But those are the restrictions we are working with, so we just have to do what we can were we can, knowing that in time jobs will get grossed off the above list and new ones added.

I do not think any new jobs will be added this week, but that may change as work progresses thru-out the week, as jobs hopefully get completed.

As usual each job is listed in it's smallest chunk possible, so that each stage that gets done is ticked off our list.
Breaking the jobs down to the simplest chunk, may seem weird to some, but with my health it is the only way I can do anything.
Yest it often takes several stages to complete one job, but if it works for me, so be it..

After spraying this yesterday, we decided to spray the whole window and the uprights as it brightens the whole back up nicely

So I happily sit down and mask the rest of the window

And I soon have 4 light coats of primer added, as it is drying nice n quickly :) :)

Whilst the primer is drying.
I decide it would make things easier to remove the front of the bathroom framework.

As it is still not complete and is only held in place bu 4 x 8" screws,
It soon comes away.

Leaving me a nice clear space to carry on with sticking the black insulation in place.

This area is between the sliding door and the bathroom and is now clear for me to start work on

On goes the sound deadening pads

And I start to complete the installation of the insulation we started yesterday.

Moving along at a nice pace.

But the insulation box is nearly empty,

So I decide to go n get Lynne and we head down the workshop, where I am sure I have more boxes of insulation.

I give the window surround 2 thin coats of rattle can white and leave it to dry.
I have 1 1/2 cans left for a final coat later on...

Looking at this door ?
I am considering spraying that white around the window as well.
But that will have to wait until I can afford more Rattle Cans.

We find one more box of the black insulation!.
I thought we had more, but Lynne had a good look, but could not find any!!

So I will have to order some, (I hope today's eBay sales are good, as I have already spent yesterday's profits of those who had paid!)

After lunch we got on with more insulating.

And we are moving along at a nice pace and we are getting on well with the insulation
And finally finish from the sliding door all the way into the bathroom.

Hopefully one day next week, we will start to measure the 3mm poly and get the roof panel cut..

We only have 4 pads of insulation left!

So we decide to use the rest of it up, for the the area behind were the kitchen will be..

But we just do not have enough, but we would like to get the kitchen in place next week

So we use some of the bathroom sound deaden-er & insulation.
to finish this area

We dig out one of the old panels,

ok it is a bit water damaged, but it has all dried out.

and as the Kitchen unit will sit in front of it, we start to adapt it to fit.

I then sand the facing side of the panel and Lynne wipes it down with a tak cloth

And Lynne gives it it's 1st coat of White pant.

We will leave it overnight to dry properly and then I will give it a 2nd coat sometime tomorrow.

massive weekend for us, with loads done. More than we could of dreamed about.
It has become clear just how long it takes to do these jobs, and just how much we have underestimated the time we need.
So a great end to the week, that has lifted us both out of the duldrums, were it seamed that nothing was being done,
Not even the Black Dog has been able to get a glimmer of a chance to even think about attacking me..
