Right I am determined to get Kurgan bloody running properly today - there just cant be anything else I have not done !
Don't worry its not a split seam,
just a bit o seepage after i removed the fuel tap.
A nice n clean Fuel tap
Took me ages to find the PFTE tape ! probably would have been quicker to drive into town and brought some
That is the fuel tap screwed in and just tight enough.
The carbs go back on
On goes the temp choke cable,
the inner on this one is way too long,
and i have lost the barrel that it sits in on the choke mech
so carefully closed the arms around the nipple.
On goes the throttle cable
the 2 right air filters are bolted on
the new fuel filter is much smaller and should make fitting the pipe much simpler.
If fits in a treat
A quick snip and the fuel pipe is connected to the fuel tap
in goes a mixture of old fuel n new mixed together
all ready now for the test firing
