Another Update.
Ben phoned me this morning, to ask me some questions, about exactly what happened when the transit went wrong.
Luckily I have my notes to refer to, and we spoke about it and discussed some things....
He said he will phone me back after midday as he wanted to check a few things out and some things we had discussed and ideas I had put forward.
But I dare not get my hopes up, as I am not strong enough to be knocked back yet again!.
Well Ben's phoned back.
He is Convinced the engine is ok.
He has checked the compression on all cylinders and they are well inside manufacturers tolerances.
When he poors fuel down the manifold the engine fires up and runs 100%.
till it runs out.
He is pretty sure it is something to do with teh fuel pump/rail or suction as when fuel filter is full, it will not keep it refilled after it is empty.
I am trying hard not to get excited at this news as it still could cost me over £500.00 to replace parts plus labour.
