Hi Folks,
It's been a while, or maybe I have some updates still to add to this Album ??
Anyway as some of you may know, The Transit and me are on a new journey, and too be honest I was so focused on planing, the changes, what we needed and items already starte dto process and sell on.
That I forgot an important item ???
THE MOT !
Now since we have owned this Transit, we have never had it go thru the MOT st time !!
So when I got a email advising that it is due it's MOT on 22nd Dec I panicked, this and the fact that I had started to believe what people on Facebook were messaging me, that I was cured or well on the way to being cured!.
Little did they know, within what was about to happen.
I got the van booked into Lodge Tyres (used to be Kingsway) down the road, and they collected the van within an hour, and took the replacement wing mirrors to be done before the MOT. Once the MOT was done it also booked in for it's yearly engine service.
Now bare in mind they do not have the MOT group they need to MOT my transit, but as they do 99% of all the work, they said they will take it to the place they get there trucks done. Plus as I often not well enough to drive, it's a deal that works well for both of us. I am usually not in a rush to get the van back, so if they are busy then that's fine by me.

So I phoned Lodge Tyres as I knew I had the result before they had chance to go and collect it.
So Doug n me had a chat, I explained what it failed on and he said that's not too bad, we will sort n get back to you.
I put the phone down and withing seconds the black dog had undone all the hard won progress I had been making.
