7th June 2023 - Life n Grimes of Mr C

Had to get up for postman, to collect the last item processed from last weekends sales.

Each day I will try and add a song that reflects and fits in with teh days feelings...........

Until 2019, I always thought I was always gonna be Ever Young.
Getting Old did not really get a look in, although My health had been deteriorating and with Timothy's passing, but the disco kept everything in check until 2017, when I could not hide the shakes anymore!..

But like many people Covid, just made things even worse and like many, I have not recovered from that and it does not look like I will.

As I look towards what ever future lays ahead, it can now be measured in months and at times weeks!!
Today I feel the weight of those years, even tho, I do not remember many of them anymore, even from notes and pics made/taken at the time...............

I have already told Lynne, that If I ever get to Scotland and I can get myself fit and well enough to walk the 10 miles up to Fey Donald Mine, that I will not be coming back down.

But If I cannot do that, maybe I will concentrate on my mental health as a starting point.

So like many things we find out in life "Forever Young" is just a dream of youth, when not only do we think we are immune to illness and death, that fades in time...........

And "Let me Follow you, even after 10 years of Tim's passing I want/need everyday!.

                                    So much for it get's easier !!!. 

So I have un-ticked around 30 items that finish between 1pm-2pm on Saturday and started to list NEW Disco Related Items to start in there place.

I have noticed, that I have up to 9 items in places that all end/start at the same time!, so in time, I hope to get them back down to 1 item.

Altho mainly cables, from the bag I pulled from the disco room yesterday, I am hoping to add some rack mounted items and if possibly some lighting, but I will need to go into the disco room and have all teh cables listed, so I have space for cleaning and testing.

There will be some Re-Listing of Disco Items and I am hoping that between 1pm & 2pm will just be for Disco/Band/Musical Instruments. if this works out, The other Items I have/will be listing will have similar time slots. I am still not feeling to good, with regular bouts of dizziness and keep forgetting what I am doing, so things are not going as quick as I hoped. 

No more news yet about the Transit issues, Hopefully in the next 2-3 days Dan or Ken will get back to me......

Again Lynne n me talked a bit about Scotland and all I can remember is we have decided that at this time (If I go) it would not be fair to take the cat, as much as I want too !!!!!!!!!!!!

Not happy about this, but it not fair for the cat, maybe later if I become more stable and we can get the cat a lead and used to it................................. 

Well managed almost till NOON!, 3 1/2 hours up today...
I little better than yesterday, but now totally disorientated, so back to bed for me.........

I have managed to get back up and continue listing sorted disco related items and to still be up for when Lynne got home.
