Double Bonus job, to have worked out and cut the bed frame & have it mounted!

Over the weekend, I will change the above jobs to be done.
As a lot of jobs have been started and fingers crossed many of them will be finished by then.

50pcs Bonnet Insulation Retainer Clips Fastener Door Panel Trim Clips Compatible with Ford Mondeo Fiesta Transit 6448410 W700671S300 6678518 8mm Hole Diameter 12.7mm Depth2

Having a bit of a tidy up in Lynne's Kitchen and found 2 more packs of these.
They will come with me into the transit later.

Wetado Trim Removal Tool, 200PCS Trim Tool Auto Removal Kit, Plastic Panel Fastener Removal Tool, Trim Removal Kit for Car,Trim,Panel,Door,Audio,Auto Clip Pliers,Terminal Removal Tool Kit (Red)

also found this.
They will come with me into the transit later.

Today's 1st job is to start to cut out and dry build the other end of the kitchen unit.
This end is not as straight forward, as you will see later on...

I have to use a G clamp to hold this upright baton in place,

as it does not go all the way to the floor.

The top cross baton, needs a gentle tap with me hand to fit into place..

The next cross baton is cut and held into place,

as the shorter upright baton is a little bent

And the next cross baton, shows just how bent the upright is!

Altho I still have the bottom part to do,

I start to screw the rear frame together.

once these 2 ends are screwed together,

it will be ready to go into the kitchen carcass.

In goes the new frame,

and I can feel it pulling everything straight as I persuade the frame it wants to go in the hole...

I start to screw the frame to the unit, starting with 3 screws along the top....

The bottom baton soon is screwed into place.

As it does not reach the floor,

due to the rear wheel arch,
I still have to make the rest of the frame up.

I finish screwing in the 1st frame I did yesterday

When Lynne stopped play with Dinner is ready.
I just glanced at it whilst screwing in the 2nd frame I have been doing today and noticed there was no screws.
There is now....

Back onto the 2nd frame and screwing this side together.
I have gone overkill on the amount of screws,

but I do not want to have to repair it a few years down the line.

Measuring up the Tap holes, in case I need to buy a new set.
As we do not know the make of the taps,

getting parts is proving bloody hard to do and the prices are not cheap either!

I have given this frame that belongs in the bathroom another coat of paint, on the bits I can get to easily.
I will just turn it round when it is dry and to the rest.

I hang up the frame that sits on top of the raised floor in the bathroom and give it another coat of paint,

in some areas it's first coat

Time to go in doors and do some research whilst the paint drys.

No makers name or model, so it was impossible to order parts for the taps.
So ordered a new set

The right pic, has the only taps I could find that will fit into our existing holes..

When will people learn ???

you put 5 x 10mm threaded bar on a cardboard sleeve and it is bound to get damaged whilst in transit...!!

I ordered 5 10mm threaded bars !!

Only 3 left when I opened the package up.

Luckily when I see a damaged package, the 1st thing I do is take pics of damage and what is left inside...

I contacted the company and they sent me a FREE RTA Postage Label & they will send me another lot out!
Why they just do not send me 2 bars I do not know....

As I needed a few bits, I headed down the workshop to see if I had the bits I wanted and to look in my threaded bar off-cuts box ( and found this 25cm off-cut ) That will keep me going for today!

I found some fire hydrant wall hangers and drill out the top hole to 10mm

Time to be careful and hope I do not get the shakes, as this sink is heavy!!

I have cut down the threaded bar to roughly the length I want and start to bolt the sink & the hanger to the wall.

I get the spirit level out and the sink is dead centre of the bubble :) :)

Ok it all has to come back off, once I have

finished adding cross members to the wall were there pipes will go.

to have the insulation/sound deadener added and the bathroom wall covered with 3mm ply.

Another off-cut added
and just as I was gonna drill the holes to screw the next off cut in place the battery went flat.

A good solid steady day today.
Nothing much achieved,

but it feels like plenty was done.
It is days like today, that I seem to get a lot of small things sorted and done.
Ok some of it (bathroom sink) will have to be removed again,

but the next time it is installed will be the final time,

and as all the hard work, has been done now,

I am hoping once we have the boarding up that things will come together very quickly.
