Fell like utter crap and tossed a coin to see whether to go back to bed or go down the workshop!
Workshop won,
so I start with moving this sheet of polystyrene into another shed,
So it's out of my way, even tho i know I will need it back in here next week......
This skirting board is in the way, but at 14 foot long, not sure if it would fit in the other shed,
Luckily for me it does just on the diagonal.
A good fight with Gordon the Gay hoover soon gets this area nice n clean.
I did try to start the bike, as its a nice day and I thought a few hours out on the road might help cheer me up a bit, but it decided otherwise.
So i move it to the side wall out of my way, this will actually be its home
Just this area to sort n clean up,
but its also the worst area
Starting to look good towards the door
The bench storage area - still has got boxes of stuff on it
But I decide to start sorting thru stuff on the floor near the workbench
Unfortunately the off cut box, wont fit the other way
But will do for now
I load up the Big one with boxes from the storage bench, some are empty, waiting to be used as packaging for Items I sell, others need sorting thru.
I temp fill the shelves up in this unfinished storage rack
I pull out the items sold, and put more items that I listed yesterday and today
in the storage bench.
but this lot
is in my way
About an hour later, its up in the air.
Ok its still in my way, but to a lesser extent for now
One of the 3 bin liners of rubbish that I have taken up to the house ready for dustman on Thursday
This bench is really comfortable to sit on
mmmm I wonder if there is enough of this Lino off cut to cover the bench top ?
Time to move this lot into the other shed, its just in my way at the moment.
Which leaves this lot of metal
Yep it not only fits but is plenty big enough.
I will fit probably one day next week, as the lid needs cutting back a little and I can also fit the hinges at the same time
Time for Gordon the Gay Hoover
to get some sucking going on
Now that looks loads better
Its nice to have a usable vice
and these metal strips i have laying around give me an idea
this off cut of metal gets shortened
and bent and screwed into place, it makes a nice metal holder, mainly for metal that i will use on the lathe, but there's other bits in there as well.
Another session with Gordon the gay hoover,
makes this area look really nice n tidy..
mmmmmmmmmmm - I keep looking at it!
Altho the doors been open all day and heater NOT on, its still too hot to work in the T-shirt.
Within 10 mins was actually dripping
This 5 foot light is now surplus to requirements so on Ebay.
Gordon the Gay hoover having a rest
These came from a friends shed when he wanted a clear out.
But i don't own an old English bike so they on Ebay
Found this tub,
its soon emptied and the fuses in there new home with the rest I sorted out yesterday
Not much in here and in the bin it goes
I have re found the plane, so its time, to plane this baton down a bit
and about 15 mins later its sat in place and the doors open.
the top frame, is now ready to be all screwed in place, and i can get it all bolted to floor and wall joists. Then put a bottom shelf in and possible a divider!
This box full of electrical stuff
and under neath, more stuff to be sorted thru
Its soon sorted out
and on Ebay
