Hi Folks, After the last few days of not doing anything..................
After breaking down on Tuesday on way to the Hospital, stopped at Kingsway and (it is booked in for Friday Morning),
So I just do not know how many days I will be able to work on the transit this week!. due to stomach pains and struggling to concentrate and find any motivation!.
So fingers crossed I will have a good day today.
On way to Hospital Tuesday, I stopped in and brought 10 x 3x2 timber (hopefully the last) and it almost cleared the bank out ...............
But as I cannot carry on, without it, It was a necessary purchase, so hopefully I can get a lot of the bed frame finished this week (Finally)
There is an awful lot of painting needing doing, but I only have about 1/3rd of the can left, But I will get it used at some stage this week.
If we have a good weekend I will buy another tin of White Silk paint next week.
To save money, It has been decided that we will re-use the old MDF boards, that we used on the old bed, after I put my knee thru the bed!!
The MDF will need cutting to shape, ( as it used to be wedged in by both sides, with the mattress on top, which gave us somewhere for the electronics and my Sleep machine. )
I will drill some air holes in them, to stop any mattress sweating.
There will be less space behind the bed, than I had hoped, just how much, we will have to wait n see...
Again I did not get to work on the transit!
I tried 3 times but could not walk thru the door :( :(
So went back to bed in disgust..........................
