Back in the workshop - I hope to start to pout Kurgan back together again, as I am missing some great riding weather....

Stephen Osborn - Clive - Not now unfortuantly A good m8 of mine who was coming over to help sort out the broken stud and a few other things is very ill, plus with me back now playing up last thing on my mind is riding the bike.

Cheers Mal
Hopefully a days rest will be enough to see me back out there tomorrow, got loads of reasonably lightish things I can be getting on with - and if I can get Kurgan back to a rolling chassis I can make a start on getting the donor bike back to rolling chassis and on ebay

Clive Brearley

Hope you both feel better soon nowt worse than a bad back. Good luck with the rebuild of Kugan .

Stephen Osborn - Mal - not got all winter - the donor bike has to be sold off - there is another custom rolling chassis in the sheds so need to get that together - split kurgan's old engine, rebuild and put in the 2nd rolling chassis to be built and get it motd ready for eBay - then hopefully pull in the cb1000F i was given and strip that and hopefully have made enough money from sale of the 2 gs1000 to buy a donor cbr1000

The replacement front end for Kurkan,

altho it is to wide, so to bits it all comes. Eventually, I may have ruined the spindle as it just didn't want to come out

No patience dude???,I remember bringing a Kwaka off road for re-work,gaskets etc...I was knocking the cylinder head back on the pins, with a wooden mallet, and It was'nt easy, next thing,I turned round,AND THE FECKIN HEAD gaskett was on the sink unit.....he never lived that 1 down,so I'm knocking upwards for another 10mins...to rectify the boo boo,lol...memories,

Stephen Osborn - :) :) :) God I  needed that chuckle :) :)
