Hi Folks - A bit of an update on the transit !
Matt's been on the phone with some updates on progress on repairing our Transits Engine.
A new Starter Motor and Flywheel was purchased and installed onto our engine.
Matt also used a new crank sensor (that I had brought previously to go into my spares box)
And the engine fired up, but for some unknown reason only on No.3 Cylinder.
When he sprayed brake fluid into the engine it fired on all 4 till it used up all the break fluid.
So Matt has removed the so called new injectors and sent them away for testing.
But we are also on the lookout for a replacement ECU and key, just in case the injectors are good.
I have also paid a large chunk of my current balance, unfortunately did not have enough money to cover it all, but at least this way my final bill will be less painful (Hopefully)
So now gotta sort some more items to list on eBay, as we know new injectors are around the £800.00 mark and ECU probably £400.00 (Hopefully we will not need this!)
