Transit - Maintenance, Work Done, Legal Stuff !
After looking around at what is available in the camper/conversion FOR SALE sites, we were not impressed.
And even less impressed at the prices, so we decided to take the transit in for an MOT, just to see how bad it was and what it will cost us to get it back on the road....
If all goes well, we may have the basis for a conversion.

The last couple of days I have started to use a post it notes app on my Computer.
I have decided to break down jobs, into very small simple jobs,
that will take from 10 min to 2 hours for me to do....
As we have a shed load of jobs to be getting on with, I hope this works for us.

Noticed this cover was missing a while back,
But today I have a brand new cover I brought last year as a spare :) :)

t takes me a while to get the rubber to seal properly,
but it's all done now and another job of my list of post it notes....

Altho I should not use these walking sticks anymore,
sometimes for the smaller jobs,
they are easier and quicker than my Zimmer frame.
But it's been raining and they kept slipping away from me !
Now I know why.
I do have some spares.
But I just do not have a clue where they are!.
If they do not surface in the next day or so,
I will order some replacements.

First job of today, (12th Oct 2019) - sees Lynne n me Heading towards Mansfield for the Disco Transits MOT.
At Andrews test centre and to have a chat with Conrad and the rest of the team.
Also today is my yearly look underneath, and Conrad or other MOTer will point out any work that will need to be dome either preventative or before next MOT!.
and its Failed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was a real shock as just to how bad the transit had gotten ! , and means we gotta drive back home .
To order some parts n get the transit booking into "Kingway" down the road...
We will stop there first and discuss the failures and a working plan...
The only part that worries me is the wielding,
as finding decent welders around here that don't charge a fortune are bloody scarce.
Plus it's not really the best time of the year to do any welding, let along spraying to cover the work.
