My First Attempt at what would many years later become CBRTIM!

Hi Folks.

In the late 80's when I was well into Honda 500 & 550/4 SOHC chops.

I had this dream bike in my mind, and rather stupidly (some said as they laughed at me trying to build it) tried to build it.

I do not know any details, sorry my mind has totally lost it all, but I obviously got a fair way into the project.

I sit here today and I wonder although the 500/4 engine was totally rebuilt with £100.00;s of brand new genuine parts, a gearbox, that I had designed from trial and error, as I did not want all the acceleration the 500 gave, but I wanted loads of low down grunt and a good cruising speed. 

I never did finish it and I ended selling off for a great loss financially, and I believe the frame was triked ?? 

And I swore that day although it remained a dream that never was to leave me, that I would never try to build it again!!!

Then some 30 odd years laters ............................................................................................. CBRTIM
