Hi Folks..........
after a good day yesterday, I was struggling to settle down in bed,

so got up at silly O'clock and carried on working on Kurgan.

first job was to feed the Neutral & gear indicator wires around the crankcase and out thru the top with teh other wires. Comments
Had to loosen the adjusters, so I could get teh sprocket back on. Found teh rear wheel bolt circlip
and its on and done up. Have just noticed by looking at the pic, that I have not bent the locking plate around teh sprocket nut - must do first job on Friday.
add teh yelow from teh rear light to a spare socket on one of teh block conectors and feed yellow wire to the headlamp shell.
have given up trying to work out which wires go were, so fastened teh right hand switch back up, and went back to my tried n tested method with my old indicator. I knew teh orange and brown wires were live, i just had to find out what did what. So conne
so the brown feed from right switch goes to a spare orange from the ig switch. teh feed white/red wire from seloniod to headlamp shell and connect to red/white from right switch turn on ig switch and the start motor now turns over on teh button.

The earth from teh left switch now joins the other earth conectors
The green wire from right hand switch, should be yellow ( well it was before I cut teh excess away) I added 2 more yellow wires and crimped up. then found teh yellow wire from the left hand switch and joined them up.
time to start conecting teh headlamp to teh bike and see if I can get teh light to work - nothing.
Then I spot a black wire at teh headlamp holder which is black - connect that to an earth point and hey presto teh lights are now working. The Kill switch is not going to be wired up. There are no side lights fitted to teh front lamp so that dont need to

be bothered with.

At the front it just leaves...

1. the horn
2. the consol lights
3. wire up neutral light
4. connect high beam light
5. conect gear indicator wires

Ignition Curcuit

1. remove points & backing plate from Kurgans old engine inc teh advance retard unit (this was all replaced in July of 2010).
2. Join points wires to Ig coils
3. time up teh points.

under teh seat.

1. connect the rear brake light switch (none fitted to front)
2. bent sprocket tab plate around teh nut
3. put on engine cover
4. remount Kliktronic & re set up
5. conect Kliktronic wiring to unit.
6 . tidy wireing

all the bike

1. check everything works
2. bleed the brakes front & back
3. check all bolts to make sure tight
4. check to make sure all bolts that requir split pins have one
5. check tyre pressures
6. put petrol tank on
7. make sure carbs dont flood
8. Attempt to start Kurgan

Then if weathers good and my healths ok take for a test run
