We are getting close to the final push now on the wiring, so hopefully today, would see me a lot closer to the end.
Deb Ladyofthelake Paine - its spagetti junction!!!!!!!! lol xxx
George Matthews - haha lolp
Anne McGarrie - It's getting there
Paul Keeble - Don't forget to put the smoke in them wires before you connect it all up or it'll never work.
Doug Ashburn - tell me about it lol
Glyn Kingo Griffiths - Well done Steve mate
As I have been struggling breathing for last half hour or so, thought it a good time to leave it alone for the nite.
As you can see my inexperience, ignorance or just lack of planning is causing me more head aches. Next time i do wiring it will be done as part of teh dry build (some thing I have never done before). and I will make up a board to make the loom up and the various parts. Hopefully this will enable me to do an even better job !
.....JOBS TO BE DONE.....
1. The gear indicator wires from the loom are long enough to reach inside the headlamp shell. So I think that is where I will join them together.
2. The Kliktronic live input need to be cut back and connected properly.
3. The brake light switch (Rear) needs to be connected up.
4. The Ignition coils need to be remounted.
5. Tidy up wireing under seat area.
6. The Seat needs the base repairing and refitting to the bike.
7. The Carbs need to be removed and stripped and cleaned internally.
8. Front tyre needs blowing up.
9. Bleed teh brakes
10. put petrol tank back on.
11. check all nuts n bolts
12. - test fire - hopefully will be on all 4 cylinders
