right unusually for me cant sleep - its 11am and i'm doing my nut waiting to see if everything sells on ebay.

so I decide to go down the workshop and see what i can do.

so first thing i see is loose engine earth - so thats bolted to frame and battery box
new cable ties along teh top tube tidy teh wires up nicely
thats the altinator conected to the rectifier - hopefully that will be the charging sorted out.
connect teh start motor lead to selloniod
and bolt the selonoid to the frame
on goes exhaust no 2 again just loosely at the mo
this is teh nut that needs welding to my frame. this pick is from teh donor frame.
on goes no1 pipe just to make sure everything lines up
yep like the donor frame just enough clearance for teh nut !
after ages moving stuff around found one of teh ig coil hangers
oops nearly missed this loose nut !
bummer a broken nipple and the pads are shagged. ebay candidate
found some pads ok they not brilliant but should do me for a few years
ahhhh found teh other ig coil hanger 🙂
so its bolt on my original caliper again !
remove teh covers n pins
and yep there shagged ( well spotted Conrad) so in teh bin they go
there ya go - ok it wasnt that easy had to use stone chissle and hammer to move teh pistons back
thats the cover on - probally will need bleeding but thet will be done later
something i always forget is split pins - not this time !
7 turns on teh right
7 turns on the left - gives about 1 inch of movement on teh chain. As I know this will loosen up and need constant checking fo r1st several trips
Time to do up teh rear wheel bolt - cant find teh split pin just yet ! but its abig R clip so it will turn up 🙂
Jack up teh rear end
and use bricks on the other side
1and use bricks on the other side
20 mins later and teh chains looking much healther - will leave over nite and do again tomorow. FInally have some one coming over hopefully this weekend to weld the nut to my frame. so jobs to do Buy some exhaust paste & cheep n nasty oil bolt up teh
