29th January 2014 - Various Hobbies - Workshop Update

After a few days of not being able to get down the workshop,

today, I decided, just gonna do a few light jobs, with plenty of rest breaks,

if my never regions started to play up !

So I decided to carry on and see if I can get this part of the roof, lined and insulated.
drilled a few holes for the electric cabling.
Added a baton to the first roof beam, as decided its just too low if i cover the beam with panelling
and this bit, Back in 2006 this roof beam snapped and I added another piece to it, using 6" nails, that now dont want to come out, but it left this step, so a bit of 2x2 baton cured this, with some 2x2 offcuts screwed to the roof beam
I cut about $ 1/2ft of the plastic liner roll, donr seem as if this litte bit will cover the part of the roof, i am working on
But its folded in 3 🙂 so very deceptive. I lightly tack this end up to get it square to the shed...
Luckily for me a while back i brought a couple of boxes of polystyrene offcuts, just to work with in difficult areas. I am sure that MRS C is glad to have them removed from here kitchen 🙂
I start to cut them up for this small fiddly area ( will save on the big sheets 🙂 Talking of them, i need to get another 2 sheets of the 22mm this 8x4 polystyrene sheets, 🙂
I carefully tack up the liner, ready to start insulating 🙂
In goes the first big bit, over the workbench.
and the next piece soon follows
i remove the little bits, pull the liner thru and refit them.
