Hi Folks.
Am back out and gonna be pottering around on Vincent for the next few hours or so, Lynne will be pottering around the garden and ready for when I need some help.
We are both really missing riding this year, but I am just not well enough, but there is still time.

It's Time to start to replace all the fuel lines

Battery is dead, so got the charger out

we had to move Vincent by hand.jpg

Off comes the seat and petrol tank.jpg

Tank is nearly full of petrol ! - why when ever you need to remove the tank is that the case

Nothing like a Jap bike for neatness

Out comes the fuel pump

New pipe ready to be fitted

Petrol tank these 2 pipes replaced, as like the rest of the pipes they leaked!

It's like xmas for Vincent - Loads of goodies in the bag

And the old ones are consigned to the rubbish bag.jpg

Even nice new clips

and on goes the first one. It would have been cheaper if I just brought a length of tube and cut to length, but you never quiet get the tight curves just right

That's both new pipes installed

It took ages to find this pipe new, but I eventually found one in France!

Time to pull out the fuel filter

So it can have the fuel pipes replaced

Heres another leak I did not know about !! Luckily the split was at the top!!

Now teh fiddly job of routing the pipe into its new home

Some 3 hours later and 99% of the fuel pipes have been replaced with new ones - and I cannot see a leak anywhere :) :)
