4th December 2022 - House and Garden Update - Spare Bed Room,
I was hoping to have the single bed broken down during the week!
But for various reasons it just did not happen :( :(
So today is a must be done day, as we need to get the bed out of the transit, but also as Emma will be coming to stay over xmas, and we need to give it a good going over to make sure it is safe and give it a good wash.
As is often the case with me, if one job does not get domes, a whole host of other jobs that were related to this job, just get held up !
And with the lost time and not enough funds Feb/March trip to Scotland is looking increasing like it's not going to happen :( :(
The offending bed, that's holding up so much work with the transit conversion !!
The transit beds matress will need a real good clean, before it gets put onto the bed frame.
We think there is enough room to dry the washing in here ?? - But Time will tell.
Time to strip the single bed of its sheets n matress.
And I am now ready to try n pick up thsi mattress and get it onto the landing..
Which just leaves the bed to dismantle, i managed most of the alan bolts with my Computers Small Tool Kit, But Lynne had to go downstairs N get some Alan Keys from the house toolbox :) :) and the bed is soon in bits....
I am resting my back at the moment as it was starting to get really painful
So Lynne is finishing sorting the stuff on the floor
So we can get the transits bed frames into place in the spare room. We are not sure just how solid the base it, we will find that out once it is in place and I can look over it. _ we plan to put th eold single bed and bits inside the double beds frame, s
