Today we really make a start on this side, with external panels and parts being put back and general knocking out of dents and filling....
1. Only Spot welded at this stage, we we need o tweak this replacement panel, so that it fits 100%
2. The side door is rehung, as we fill in the smaller and less pronounced dents, that we could not entirely remove.
3. Trying to get all the shut lines right!
4. The Passenger door has all been sanded by hand, and is almost ready for paint prep, apart from the one area we have just filled.
5. We are still working on the passenger door rear shut lines, it takes so long, but is so satisfying when the shut lines are perfect and the filler & paintwork we have been sanding back, is all so smooth n tactile when you rub ya hands over it..
6. Finishing fillers around the sliding door handle. Altho this door handle does work, inside were the rods fit are some hairline cracks, luckily I just have a brand new spare in my box of Genuine Ford Items I have purchased over the last several months. For when we are ready to fit it.
7. We are having an issue getting the top of the sliding door to sit right!
But we have a cunning plan.
