Trevor and I were hoping to get many of those tedious jobs out of the way today..
Trevor is doing most of the work today on the trike as I'm in me shed stripping me chop engine down..

The first job was to measure up and cut the left footplate, so she sits

Then onto adjusting the right foot panel, A bit more difficult this one as the clutch is in the way this side...

And with some gentle grinding and patience shes laid down in her new home...

As can be seen, we still have to round the corners and bend some of the plate to fit snuggly to the frame. - I am not too sure how to attach these plates to the frame, but counter sunk allan bolts look to be favourite... - Next on the list was to legnthe

The plan is to grind away excess metal as soon as we are confident of it working...
But a problem soon reared its ugly head the threads are different !!!!!!!!!
This effectively put the brakes on anymore work, as all the rest needs the front end or/and the dummy tank.
The front end is coming along nicely and hopefully should be ready in a few weeks.
Same time - same place tomorrow ---- THAT'S ALL FOLKS !!!!
