He has the larger VN1500 petrol tank than my smaller one
and to be fair to Luke, it was all in better condition that I was expecting
So I parted with £90.00 of my very hard earned bike tokens
and after a good chat, (another friend made
We Load up
and head for home
Ok I have some work to do, but its a winter project for Vincent
We are hoping to increase the fuel mileage from 75 MPG to go on reserve - up to nearer 100 MPG before reserve
front plastic as is usual has been repaired,
but once sanded back and given a coat of paint no one will know
The console is in pretty good condition
and we will have a fuel Gauge
(Not that They are that Accurate), but better than what we got now
Will need to be prepped n sprayed before installing on Vincent.
But I think it will look good when its all done.
I am never sure about these chains on motorbikes, always worried they gonna chip the paint.
Will need the side badges - just hope they are available 🙂 🙂
Once its all cleaned n sprayed up and on bike and it will look 100%.
May well be replaced, will know when we start work on the tank.
Chrome polishes up far better than I expect.
