Hi Folks.In the late 80's when I was well into Honda 500 & 550/4 SOHC chops.I had this dream bike in my mind, and rather stupidly (some said as they laughed at me trying to build it) tried to build it.I do not know any details, sorry my mind has totally lost it all, but I obviously got a fair way into the project.I sit here today and I wonder although the 500/4 engine was totally rebuilt with £100.00;s of brand new genuine parts, a gearbox, that I had designed from trial and error, as I did not want all the acceleration the 500 gave, but I wanted loads of low down grunt and a good cruising speed. I never did finish it and I ended selling off for a great loss financially, and I believe the frame was triked ?? And I swore that day although it remained a dream that never was to leave me, that I would never try to build it again!!!Then some 30 odd years laters .............................................................................................
